Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has criticized his players for their lack of “passion” and “fight” during their 1-1 draw with Brentford.

Throughout the match at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, United were largely outplayed. Despite Mason Mount giving them the lead in the 96th minute, Kristoffer Ajer equalized for Brentford just three minutes later.

Ten Hag expressed his disappointment after the game, stating, “We displayed resilience throughout the match, but Brentford showed greater aggressiveness at crucial points. We need to exhibit more passion and determination in various moments of the game. When you have a late lead, you must see it through to the end. Although there was spirit and fight, it wasn’t enough.”
