Petit believes that Sancho would be a valuable addition to Arsenal’s squad.

Sancho, who was transferred for a significant £73 million fee, found himself excluded from Manchester United’s first-team lineup after a falling out with manager Erik ten Hag last September.

Despite the discord, Sancho’s loan stint at Dortmund has allowed him to rediscover his form, particularly impressing in the Champions League with his dynamic dribbling abilities.

Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, Petit praised Sancho’s resurgence, describing him as a rejuvenated and explosive player.

“I was commentating on how impressed I was with Jadon Sancho in the Champions League,” Petit remarked.

“He appears to be a completely different player now, extremely fit, agile, and explosive.

“He’s like a force of nature on the field, incredibly dynamic with Karim Adeyemi on the left wing, making them difficult to contain.

“He’s returned to his peak form, and Manchester United seem to be far behind, so if Arsenal is interested in him, why not?

“You could place the world’s best player at Manchester United right now, and they’d appear mediocre within two months.”
