Former Portugal winger Nani has remarked that Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho bears more resemblance to him than to Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, speaking to The Mirror, Nani stated:

“When I observe Garnacho, he evokes memories of myself. He even wears the No. 17 jersey—the same number I wore. Since adopting that number this season, he’s found the net on several occasions, which has been beneficial for him.

“He displays fearlessness in taking on defenders, making runs, and providing assists. He’s a talented player with ample room for growth and development. I believe he will shine brightly in the future.

“His style of play aligns more closely with mine during my time at United than with Cristiano’s. He’s an immensely thrilling player, and I hope he can secure titles with the club and contribute to its future success.”
