Arsenal is closely monitoring at least two Super Eagles strikers ahead of the summer transfer window.
According to reports from the Daily Mirror, Arsenal’s director of football, Edu Gasper, has already compiled a 10-man shortlist. Among the names on this list are the Nigerian duo of Victor Osimhen from Napoli and Victor Boniface from Bayer Leverkusen.
Also included in the list are Ivan Toney, Alexander Isak, and Viktor Gyokeres, who have been standout performers for Sporting CP this season.

While Arsenal has performed well in the Premier League this season, scoring the most goals with 70 so far, manager Mikel Arteta has utilized Kai Havertz as a false nine due to Gabriel Jesus’ injury.
However, plans are in place to revert to a traditional number nine system next season, prompting Edu to narrow down their search for potential strikers.
Osimhen, ranked eighth in the world according to the 2023 Ballon d’Or list, was instrumental in Napoli’s Serie A triumph last season with 26 league goals. Despite a slight dip in form this season with 13 goals in all competitions compared to 31 previously, he remains highly sought after in Europe.
Boniface, meanwhile, has notched up 16 goals and nine assists for Bayer Leverkusen this season, although he has been sidelined since December due to a groin injury. However, he has returned just in time for the business end of the season as Leverkusen aims to challenge Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga title.
Edu’s 10-man shortlist also includes players like Ivan Toney from Brentford, Alexander Isak from Newcastle, and Viktor Gyoekeres from Sporting CP, among others.
