On the 20th of May, 2023, Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda will be officially welcomed into the Ife palace, joining the ranks of Queen Mariam, Queen Ashley, Queen Tobi Philips, and others as Ooni’s wives.

Recently, Gossipinfo reported that the Ooni of Ife had taken a new wife shortly after his other wives caused a commotion online. The lady identified as Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda was announced as his sixth wife.
Although no wedding photos have been circulated online, it is said that the marriage occurred a while back. City People revealed that invitations were sent to the Ooni’s family and friends for the Thanksgiving service scheduled to take place on Saturday, the 20th of May, 2023.
The event will be preceded by the traditional entrance of the Queen into the ancient Ife Oodua Palace of Ile-Ife on Thursday.
