Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has revealed his football idol, and it’s not his Portuguese teammate and captain, Cristiano Ronaldo. Instead, Silva named former Argentina international Pablo Aimar as the player he idolized growing up.
Although Silva has never played in Argentina, he was captivated by Aimar’s style of play as a child.
In an interview with ESPN Argentina, Silva explained his admiration, saying, “My idol? I really liked watching Pablo Aimar when I was a kid… I really liked him.”
