Bimbo Ademoye: This should not even be up for debate.

Kunle Remi: No, this is debatable because Saro was on his own with his sugar mummy doing his own things, and she [Arolake] advised that they run. So if you look at it from a man’s point of view, he was an opportunist because he had a goal.

Bimbo: He was a thief. Useless man. Scummy man.

Kunle: I’m not trying to win this argument, I’m just trying to make a point that Saro is innocent.

Bimbo: You can’t win this argument, Saro is scum.

Kunle: So what happens to the Arolake that left her husband’s house that’s the king. She had a role to play.

Bimbo: She left an old man that she was given to by force.

Kunle: But she could have just run with anybody, why did she bring her problem into Saro’s life.

Bimbo: It’s now problem but when she gave Saro the death gourd nko? Next question.

“Do you think Arolake was foolish for discarding Akala’s power?”

Bimbo: I don’t think she was foolish, I think she was just in love which can happen to anybody. Like when you’re in love with a man, you always want to give him that dominating power. Do you understand? It’s just like when you’re in a relationship with a guy and you’re the one that has more money, you give him your card so it looks like he paid for it. We’re all guilty of it I guess.

Kunle: I can’t really speak on behalf of Arolake because if I’m going to judge by how Saro treated her through the journey, then he deserved to be punished but not that kind of way. She could have done it different, like just leave the house and go. Not to take the power. I can’t speak on behalf of Arolake because a woman will understand her pain more than a guy. But then again, life is not that hard. Move on, leave the guy and go.

What are your opinions if you have seen Anikulapo on these two issues? Which party is at blame, and should Arolake have handed Saro Akala the power, in your opinion?
