The Lagos State Police Command has provided an update on the situation regarding the late Mohbad’s body. According to a police source, the delay in exhuming the body for an autopsy is due to paperwork that needs to be completed with the state Ministry of Health as part of the investigation process.
The source mentioned that Mohbad’s body is expected to be exhumed for an autopsy on either Wednesday, September 20, or no later than Thursday, September 21. This step is crucial in determining the cause of the singer’s death and is part of the ongoing investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Mohbad died on September 12 in controversial circumstances. He was buried the next day, September 13.

Nigerians have demanded that an autopsy be carried following the startling revelations of him being harassed and assaulted while he was alive.
The Lagos state police command on Monday, September 19, set up a 13-man committee to carry out a detailed investigation into the circumstances surrounding his demise.
The committee is expected to turn in its report in two weeks.
