He continued by saying that during the arrest, two live cartridges and a handgun manufactured locally were found.

According to Hundeyin, the police were notified that six alleged members of a cult were intimidating drivers of commercial tricycles at Keke Marwa Park in the Fadeyi neighborhood.

The PPRO said that after receiving the information, a group of law enforcement officers arrived on the location right away and detained a man named Seun Olatunbosu.

The individuals attempted to attack the park’s chairman in addition to interfering with operations while brandishing deadly weapons like firearms, cutlasses, and axes.

After learning of the information, a group of law enforcement officers descended on the location right away. They apprehended 29-year-old Seun Olatunbosu and found him in possession of a locally manufactured pistol and two live cartridges, while other individuals managed to flee.

According to a spokesman for the command, the suspect admitted to being a Black Axe Confraternity member during the course of the investigation.

He went on, “Efforts are underway to apprehend additional gang members.”

In a similar vein, last Wednesday during a rival cult conflict, officials from the state command’s Igando Division detained two suspects, Hammed Olawale and Japhet Oderinde.
