Nollywood actress Bakare Zainab recalled her final interaction with Gbemi Anjola.

stated that Gbemi Anjola, a rising celebrity, passed away on March 24, 2023, following a protracted fight with ovarian cancer.

In 2021, Gbemi received a diagnosis for the condition. As a result, she took a 6-month chemotherapy treatment in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

She received medical care in Dubai and returned to Nigeria cancer-free. The actress reported memory loss and a headache on March 25, 2023, on Friday.

Despite being taken to the hospital right away, Gbemi was later declared deceased.

The late actor’s coworkers, Itele and Zainab Balogun, relayed the awful news and paid tribute to her on their Instagram sites.

Taking to Instagram to mourn her, Bakare recounted her last moment with the actress.

She reminisced on how the prayed together and how the deceased promised to stay strong for her and even consoled Bakare to stay strong for her.

Bakare reminded her of the promises they made, their photoshoots, the plans and more.

The movie star questioned what would happen to the huge money their male colleague, Ibrahim Yekini better known as Itele sent her.

“My Own GBEMI is sleeping. She said we will talk later. AKINGBEMISOLA. Remember how we prayed together. Remember How I said you were God’s favorite. You promise to stay strong for me, you even consoled me to stay strong for you. Remember your priorities, our photoshoots. The plans, iya that job we wanna do!
Baby stop slumbering. This was not how we said it, that huge money @iteledicon01 sent you last week okay how do we do it now?
