Alhaja Odukanmi Kudirat, often known as “Iyabo Oko,” is a well-known veteran actress. She was born on October 15th, 1960, in the Nigerian state of Osun, where she attended school until she was transported to Port Harcourt to live with her military father.

It wasn’t easy for Oduola Olamide, the daughter of renowned actress Iyabo Oko and Late Tajudeen Akanmu, widely known as Koledowo, to do her debut film without her mother.
Oduola Olamide underlined that despite being constantly told that making movies is simple, she only learned this because of her mother, Iyabo Oko, whose illness made her feel her absence.
