She received criticism from the politician for mentioning him in her most recent interview.

Nkechi confessed that she dated her ex, Opeyemi Falegan, in order to retaliate against her American ex, Mike Adeyemi, in an interview with TVC’s “Your Views” hosts.
She claims that after she split up with Mike Adeyemi, they were attempting to mend their relationship when he began promoting another woman on his social media profiles.
Nkechi retaliated by entering a bad relationship with another person.

Talking about her relationship status, she said she is in a relationship.
“I am in a relationship and it’s not rebound”.
Reacting to it, Opeyemi blasted her for being obsessed with him.
He stated it is dysfunctional for her to keep attaching her name to his.
Urging her fans to give her content, he stated that she sounds really empty.
“This girl will never stop mentioning my name kilodeeeee? Once I have a reason to go, I will never find an excuse to come back. U no get content again?
