After a colon tumor was removed in September, the soccer legend has undergone routine medical treatment. Regarding any symptoms of Pelé’s recent respiratory infection, which was made worse by COVID-19, the hospital has not made any comments. Regarding whether the cancer had spread to other organs, the family has remained silent.

Pelé, who still holds the record for the most goals scored by a member of the Brazilian national team with 77, guided his country to victories in the World Cups of 1958, 1962, and 1970. He is frequently recognized as one of the best soccer players in sport history.
