Bay FC of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) celebrated Asisat Oshoala as she was selected by Nigeria for the 2024 Olympic Games.
Oshoala, named in the 18-player squad by Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum last week, was honored with a bouquet of flowers by Bay FC alongside her teammates. Rachael Kundananji and Lysianne Proulx, who will represent Zambia and Canada respectively at the Olympics, also joined in the celebration.
