Michael Haugabook has become a celebrity after marrying his goddaughter, Deja, shortly after she turned 18.
Michael, a father of several children, has been a part of Deja’s life since she was born, and he is shown carrying her in one shot when she was a toddler.
When she went missing in 2017, he was also seen pleading for help on Facebook.

Deja did, however, write when she was still 17 that she was in a relationship, but no one knew who she was dating. When she became 18, she married Michael, leading to speculation that Michael had been cultivating and courting the young mother before marrying her when she was of legal age.
The age gap, as well as the fact that he is her Godfather, sparked controversy. Most people assumed he was 55 years old and wondered why he would marry an 18-year-old.
However, a record from the time of Michael’s arrest in 2014 shows that he was 54 years old at the time, implying that he is now 61 years old.
Deja has a one-year-old daughter and is also responsible for Michael’s three children, giving her a total of four children at the age of 18.
Michael and Deja, on the other hand, are pleading with everyone to mind their own business.
