Head coach Jose Peseiro has confirmed that the Napoli striker will undergo the scan on Monday to determine the severity of the injury. Peseiro expressed his concerns during a media interaction after the game, stating, “At this moment, it is my opinion, will I go and put a player with an injury on the field? A month’s injury, or even two? It is better to make him aware of it now.”

He further explained, “He is going to undergo the test, and if the situation doesn’t improve, you must expect the club [Napoli] to make the final decisions since they are the ones paying his salary. This applies not only to Osimhen but to all our players.”
