Italian journalist Valter De Maggio revealed on Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli that while Osimhen’s first choice is Arsenal, he may consider other options, including a move to the Middle East, if Arsenal does not make an offer. “Osimhen wants the Premier League; if the offer doesn’t come, then he would consider the Arab one,” De Maggio said, emphasizing the striker’s preference for Arsenal over other clubs like Chelsea.
A major obstacle in securing Osimhen is his release clause, set at a hefty €130 million by Napoli’s president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is not open to negotiation. This, along with Arsenal’s potential pivot in transfer strategy influenced by Kai Havertz’s recent performances, adds complexity to the deal.
Osimhen, 25, has been a key player for Napoli, scoring 17 goals this season following a 31-goal haul the previous year. His goal-scoring ability has made him highly sought after in the transfer market, with interest from several top clubs.
