Gunmen who kidnapped Najeebah and her five sisters in Abuja are said to have slain the young woman.
The HUB Metro discovered that on January 9, Najeebah, her sisters, and their father were taken hostage.
It was learned that the gunmen later freed their father and instructed him to go obtain N60 million as payment before Friday, January 12, in order to free her girls.

Nigerians were asked to deposit whatever money they had into a bank account in an effort to raise funds, but as of Friday, not enough money had been raised.
As a result, it is said that the thugs murdered Najeebah, the oldest of the six daughters, and disposed of her body for her parents to bury.
On Saturday night, Isa Ali Pantami, the former Minister for Communication and Digital Economy, confirmed Najeebah’s death.
Pantami claimed to have discussed the remaining kidnapped females with Najeebah’s father.
Hey Raajiun, inna lil Laahi wa inna ilaiHi! I recently came over a story regarding our daughter Najeeba’s (400 level, ABU) murder. I also discussed the remaining five of our abducted daughters with her father. In a post on his X handle, he wished for Allah to pardon her, save others, and restore complete peace to Nigeria.
Earlier, Bashir Ahmad, a former assistant to former President Muhammadu Buhari, urged the police to take appropriate action.
“Along with other worried Nigerians, I’m urgently pleading with the @PoliceNG, via its PPRO @PrinceMoye1, to acknowledge and address the regrettable event of Najeebah and her five sisters’ abduction that occurred over a week ago. According to information received this morning by a family member @Adamu_Asiya_, the kidnappers have sadly executed Najeebah as a warning and are requesting a ransom of N100 million in exchange for the release of the other captives.
“We beg the Nigeria Police to give this investigation top priority and to use all available means to securely rescue the victims who are still alive. I’m grateful. On X, he stated.
In response, Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, stated that the police would have to speak with a member of the victims’ family.
In response, Muyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, stated that the police would have to speak with a member of the victims’ family.
“Please use code while relating to us or your family members. Please leave a message on my personal line if they choose to contact me there. We’ve been working on it, but more information is required. We shall make every effort to put in place the essential safeguards to ensure their safe recovery. But please, we need some information. Thanks,” Adejobi replied.
Ahmad later said that he had connected a senior victim’s family member to the police.
I’ve had a conversation with a Najeebah relative after our conversations with @PoliceNG Public Relations Officer, @PrinceMoye1. We decided that, instead of using social media, a senior family member would speak with Prince Muyiwa directly and face-to-face.
“The family would like to thank all Nigerians for their support and care during this difficult time.
“We are hopeful that #NajeebahAndHerSisters will be swiftly and safely rescued and reunited with their family now that the authorities are involved,” the statement read.
On social media, Nigerians have lamented Najeebah’s passing and urged security forces to save the other girls without incident.
