After her car was taken over by armed thieves on Monday night along the Benin-Sagamu Expressway in Ogun State, a woman named Modupeola Durojaye has cried out.
It was discovered that armed individuals disguising themselves as Nigerian Police Force members took the black 2018 Toyota Sienna with the license plate AA447GS from the highway.
Speaking with PUNCH Metro on Thursday, Durojaye claimed that her husband was duped into parking her car at night on the Benin-Sagamu Expressway, when armed thieves took it from him.

“My husband drove the car to work that day. Around 8:30 p.m., on his way home, he was stopped by some men who appeared to be police officers and had flashlights,” she stated.
They attacked him as soon as he parked, took the car, and ran away. My spouse is still attempting to get over the shock of the traumatic event.
According to Durojaiye, her spouse was hurt while attempting to protect himself from the robbers’ onslaught. “They were masked, the incident happened quickly, and my husband and the criminals engaged in combat,” the woman stated. They attacked him with a machete and other dangerous weapons, causing him to suffer severe injuries.
Not only was the automobile taken, but his expensive watch and ring were also taken by them. They also took his pocketbook, which had his driver’s license and bank ATM card, so he went to the court to get an affidavit, she added.
Omolola Odutola, the Ogun Police Command spokesman, informed our correspondent via SMS that she was driving when she was contacted.
As of the time this report was filed, she had not responded to the message left on her line asking for her opinion.
