Despite Fury’s claims, BoxRec reports that Usyk has been temporarily suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control until June 2, ostensibly due to the bout’s aftermath. No such suspension appears in Fury’s records.

Usyk’s suspension, however, is unlikely to affect his future endeavors, as the Ukrainian pugilist is poised to take a well-deserved hiatus following an exhaustive nine-month training regimen.
