Following his comeback to the movie set after months of suffering an unexplained sickness, Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi has declared her affection for his senior colleague Ebun Oloyede, also known as Olaiya Igwe.
Olaiya Igwe was rumored to have died during kidney operations at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, in August 2021.
The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPAN), on the other hand, refuted the rumors about his death, calling them “false news.”

Similarly, Mr Latin, a 54-year-old Nollywood actor, made a visit to Olaiya Igwe with his colleagues a few months back and stated that he had been sick and was recovering.
Mr Latin captioned a photo of his visit to the sick actor, “I visited Olaiya Igwe at home, and I am extremely delighted that he is recovering very quickly.”
Olaiye Igwe posted a sweet selfie of himself on his Instagram profile on Wednesday evening, stating that he is back to work.
Back to work, he wrote.
Kemi Afolabi, who is ecstatic about this, rushed to Instagram to show her love for Olaiye Igwe and to welcome him back to work.
