To support Asiwaju Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos, Yoruba celebrities Murphy Afolabi, Olaiya Igwe, Ojopagogo, and others took to the streets of Lagos. The campaign was organized by the Connecting Grassroot Initiative (CGI), which was founded by MC Oluomo.
The Connecting Grassroot Initiative (CGI), an organization dedicated to promoting Tinubu’s presidential campaign for the APC, is run by MC Oluomo. The group’s major goal is to connect with the locals, going door to door and making an effort to build relationships with the neighborhood.
The ensemble included Yoruba personalities such Murphy Afolabi, Olaiya Igwe, Ojopagogo, Damola Olatunji, Fokoko, and others.

As part of the Connecting Grassroot Initiative’s(CGI) plan to move from one local government to another with the aim of spreading the gospel of ASIWAJU / SHETTIMA and SANWO-OLU /HAMZAT to lagosians. On the early hours of Tuesday the campaign train moved to Ikeja LOCAL
GOVERNMENT with their door to door campaign. Their soul winning campaign saw many trooped out to show their love and support for the ruling APC.
They will be moving from one local government area to another till they cover the entire Lagos State.
