The Yoruba word “Odale” was used by actress Bimbo Ademoye, who played Arolake, to characterize Saro.

The lovers eloped to another kingdom to begin a new life.

Anikulapo also addresses issues surrounding polygamy as well as exploring different perspectives of the African culture.

The star studded cast also include, Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Hassan, Adebayo Salami, Dele Odule, Yinka Quadri, Faithia Williams, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Mr Macaroni, Sunday Omobolanle, Toyin Afolayan, Kareem Adepoju and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
