Despite playing in movies as married couples for 37 years together, Richard Mofe Damijo stirred outrage on social media by claiming he has never kissed his colleague, Sola Sobowale.

In a video shared by Sobowale on her Instagram page, RMD said it is surprising that they have never locked lips in front of a camera despite all these years.

Still holding on to the dream of kissing his colleague, RMD stated that he hopes to still be relevant in the movie industry in the next ten years, and, by that time, he ought to have kissed Sobowale on a movie set.

Richard Mofe Damijo, who has been on the movie scene for decades and often plays intimate roles in several films, lock lips with some ladies. Hence many movie lovers believed the veteran actor had kissed almost all the females in the Nollywood industry.

Reacting to the video, some social media users averred that Sola Sobowale does not feature in romantic movies, describing her as an iron lady.

On the other hand, some pointed out that movies that RMD and Sola Sobowale feature are continuously marred with issues in their marriage, a reference to ‘Gold Statue’.
