Chief Grace Atinuke Oyelude, the first Miss Nigeria beauty pageant winner from 1957, is ninety-three years old.
On Thursday, November 16, the Miss Nigeria Organization revealed this in an Instagram post.
Grace became well-known as the first Miss Nigeria and is a retired licensed nurse, midwife, and hospital administrator. After her brother delivered her photo to the pageant producers Daily Times, she competed as the Northern representative in the Miss Nigeria grand final (Miss Nigeria was originally a photo competition).
Nigerians including celebrities have celebrated the ‘Ageless queen’ as they trooped to comment section.
The post reads, “We are immensely delighted to celebrate the evergreen beauty and brave leader, Chief Grace Atinuke Oyelude, on the occasion of her 93rd birthday. Her courage, resolve, and great strength of character are excellent qualities that have endeared her to us and many others.”
