On October 20, 2020, a Nigerian woman who claims to have lost her kid in the Lekki tollgate shooting has come forward.

The widow from Akwa Ibom insists in an interview with Arise news this afternoon, October 20, that her son was killed in the shooting at the Lekki tollgate on October 20, 2020.

Speaking through an interpreter, the woman claimed that two years after the tragedy, she has still not located her son’s body despite having seen a photo of it.

Gossipinfo news recall that Yomi Fabiyi, a Nigerian actor, used social media to commemorate the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protest.

Recalls that two years ago, it was claimed that Nigerian army forces shot at #EndSARS demonstrators at the Lekki Toll Gate, resulting in fatalities.

Yomi Fabiyi wrote on the second anniversary of the #EndSARS protest:

A day I will never forget, a day we will never forget is 20:10:2020.

It is my hope that soon Nigeria and Nigerians would experience true freedom and democracy where human dignity and all of one’s rights will be upheld and preserved after all of our sacrifices, suffering throughout the Endsars protest and any other.

May God heal the wounds of those of us alive and grant peaceful rest to those who paid the ultimate price during the entire struggle and peaceful protest, console their families o Lord, Amen 🙏. They are the real heroes.
