In Anambra state, a woman was detained after beating her maid to death and dumping the body in a bush.
The woman was taken into custody by NAPTIP, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons. The woman is shown finding the body and throwing it in the bush in the viral footage.

The terrible tragedy had place in the state of Anambra. The woman said that she had beaten her maid until she began to convulse.

“I beat her and she started convulsing so I took her to Kings (hospital). Getting there, she died, so I threw her body here.”
