Dr. Faisal Shuaib, Executive Director of the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), revealed the plans at a meeting of Christian leaders in Abuja yesterday to sensitize them on phase two of COVID-19 immunization.

“I am pleased to inform you that beginning with this phase two of the COVID-19 vaccine rollout, we have added Sunday vaccination,” Shuaib remarked.

This is to ensure that members of the Christian community who may not have had access to immunizations for whatever reason are immunized at their places of worship.

I must say that field reaction has been very promising, and I want to express my gratitude to all Christian leaders who have allowed the vaccination team access to their churches and members to get COVID-19 vaccine during Sunday services.”
