Celebrities of Nigeria have displayed off their children’s traditional attire for Independence Day with pride.

Numerous schools in Lagos organized an Independence Day event to commemorate Nigeria’s 62nd birthday, which falls on October 1st.

Blogger Linda Ikeji, her sister Laura Ikeji, actors Mercy Aigbe and Ruth Kadiri, media personality Toolz, Lola Omotayo of Peter Psquare, and Sunmbo Adeoye all displayed the clothes their children were wearing.

These famous people’s children appeared in public to celebrate independence day while showcasing various cultures. They were all dressed in distinct ethnic and cultural garb.

The pleased mums commented on their adorable children while posting images on their individual profiles.

Laura Ikeji revealed how difficult it was getting her kids, especially her daughter, into her attire.

Today has been a big struggle. Ryan loved his attire and couldn’t stop dancing. But u see this girl Laurel. She showed us pepper but in the end we succeeded in getting her into her attire. She’s Iyawo Oba and Riyan Mallam.

Sunmbo Adeoye revealed that she used her traditional wedding wrapper to make outfits for her two younger kids. She wrote, “This is my Traditional Wedding wrapper almost a decade later”.
