The West African nation has been classified as the 7th largest exporter of football talent in the FIFA global transfer report for 2022.
Nigeria, which spent $104 million to transfer 725 players. Ghana finished in second with 515 participants and a total value of $17.4 million, trailing behind Nigeria with 428 players valued $38.3 million.

Third in the continent and ninth overall was Ivory Coast. These three countries are now recognized as major exporters of African football talent.
With 2,061 players exported for $843.2 million, Brazil took first place globally. Argentina came in second with 1,004 players for $380 million.
Given that these South American countries have a lengthy history of producing exceptional football players, it is not unexpected to see them at the top of this list.
The third- and fourth-placed nations were France and Great Britain, who sent 921 and 848 players, respectively, for $591.5 million and $249.7 million.
In recent years, these nations have established themselves as significant exporters of football talent.
