According to the National Universities Commission (NUC), there are at least 67 illegitimate universities in Nigeria.

Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, the NUC’s Executive Secretary, posted the list on the commission’s official website.

 

 

Those who claim to be affiliates of international universities in the country are included on the list.

 

 

Institutions having “other campuses” are marked with “others,” while those “working anywhere in Nigeria” are marked with “anywhere.”
