Popular Nigerian rapper and singer Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael better known as Zlatan Ibile has taken to social media to celebrate his growth so far as a musical artiste.
Taking to his verified Instagram page today, May 29th 2024, Zlatan Ibile made a recall on his humble beginnings as he shares a photos that shows the moment he wins a car at a talent show 10 years ago.

In 2017, rapper Zlatan Ibile gained recognition in the Nigerian music industry following his song “My Body” featuring his senior colleague, Olamide.
Since then, Zlatan Ibile has been consistent in the Nigerian music industry with several hit songs and award to his name. Zlatan Ibile who recently opened a luxurious walk-in-store is now worth multimillion of naira and has expensive houses and cars.
Apart from Olamide, Rapper Zlatan Ibile has collaborations with Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Naira Marely, Tiwa Savage, Asake, Mohbad among others.
Zlatan Ibile who is well known for the slang “Kapaichumerimerichupako” while sharing photo of the moment he won the car in 2014 at the talent show said 10 years ago there was no Zlatan Ibile, he was just an aspiring footballer till he breaks into prominence in 2017 following his collaboration with Olamide where everything changed from football to music.
In the post, Zlatan Ibile who used to be a Mapoly student in Abeokuta thanks the students of the polytechnic back then for their support he making sure he won the car.
Zlatan Ibile, a father of one utters that he can’t believe today makes it 10 years since he won the car adding that he won’t give up as he would keep on going strong.
Zlatan Ibile wrote; “10 years ago, there was no Zlatan Ibile. All there was, was an aspiring footballer. Mapoly students believed in me by ensuring I won this contest! From then, everything changed from football to music. I did not have 2 personal songs let alone a hit until 2017 with Baddo. Thank you to every Mapoly student who stood by me. Thank you Day 1 Zlatanovaz. Can’t believe today makes it exactly 10 years already… And we’re still going strong. ZTTW!.”
