Serie A leaders Napoli crushed second-placed Juventus 5-1 on Friday, extending their lead at the top to 10 points.

After Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny stopped winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s close-range bicycle kick but was unable to stop Victor Osimhen’s follow-up header, Napoli took the lead in the 14th minute.

Osimhen provided Kvaratskhelia with the perfect pass into an open area, where the Georgian added the finishing touch and doubled Napoli’s advantage in the 39th minute.

Three minutes later, Angel Di Maria gave Juventus a chance to tie the score, making it 2-1 with a low strike into the left corner that sent Napoli goalkeeper Alex Meret powerless between the posts.

Defender Amir Rrahmani restored a two-goal advantage for Napoli 10 minutes into the second half with a superb first-touch finish following a corner.

Osimhen made it 4-1 in the 65th minute with his second header of the evening and substitute Eljif Elmas secured the win for Napoli in the 72nd.

With 47 points from 18 games, Napoli is in first place, 10 points clear of both AC Milan and Juventus.
