Operators in the agro-allied sector of the nation have been urged by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control to guarantee the use of suitable and secure feeds.

According to the statement, Dr. Rametu Momodu, Director of Veterinary Medicine and Allied Products at NAFDAC, made the appeal on Wednesday at the Agro Merit Industrial Outreach at the Poultry Show in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
Additionally, she requested increased national collaboration from the Poultry Association of Nigeria in order to effectively collaborate toward the industry’s development through effective regulatory standards.
Momodu further mentioned that the sensitization process was used to educate and train agro-farmers, giving them the chance to work with NAFDAC.
“These are all to enlighten, educate, and tell them what we do and the reason we do it,” Momodu declared.
