Nigerian actor Adeniyi Johnson has made an appeal to the Nigerian police, urging them to balance justice with mercy in the case involving skitmaker Trinity Guy.

Currently detained in Ibadan, Trinity Guy is facing charges for his reckless prank that involved sexualizing a minor. Adeniyi Johnson took to his Instagram page to plead with the Nigerian police, asking them to consider showing mercy in this case.

While acknowledging that Trinity’s actions were unquestionably wrong and absurd, Adeniyi emphasized that Trinity was merely trying to provide for himself. Adeniyi stated that the challenges he faced in his struggle for survival led him to cross the boundaries of the law.

Court remands Trinity Guy

Gossipinfo reported that a Magistrate Court sitted at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State capital had ordered the remand of Abdullahi Maruff Afida aka Trinity Guy.

Recall that the Nigerian police through Force Public Relation Officer, Olumyuwa Adejobi called for the arrest of Trinity Guy following a viral video of his dangerous pranks.

A statement by the Oyo State Police Command on Friday disclosed that the skit maker and parent of the little girl in the viral video were quizzed by the Command and would appear in Court on Monday, June 26th.

In court, the counsel to the defendant, Oludare Adebayo, while appearing before the Magistrate, urged the court to grant his client bail.

Unfortunately, Magistrate PO Adetuyibi denied the bail stating that the allegation against the skit maker is receiving the attention of the State Ministry of Justice.

The court also ordered that the parents of the little girl in the video be remanded alongside Trinity Guy.

The Magistrate adjourned the case till July 11.
