Sunmbo Adeoye, the wife of Pastor Adeoye from Royalty Christian Centre in Lagos and the mother of two of 2face Idibia’s sons, recently shared her childhood experiences. In a recent Instagram post, the stunning mother of four expressed her gratitude towards her 84-year-old mother for being a wonderful role model and inspiration in her life.
Sunmbo Adeoye reminisced about her early years, recalling how she and her sister used to hide inside their mother’s Land Cruiser whenever she went to the depot to restock supplies. Her mother managed a supermarket and also ran a restaurant at the staff canteen of Mulmaco and First Aluminium companies.
To make their hiding spot more effective, they would cover themselves with sacks, with the assistance of her mother’s staff, and would only reveal themselves when they were certain their mother was too far away to turn back home.

She was very industrious and still is to a large extent at 84 years old and her industriousness inspired and influenced our strong desire to achieve something.
Never underestimate the power of influence the person you constantly look up to, has over you. After all, as the saying goes, “We become like who we see.”
