Actress Joke Silva has once more refuted the claim that her husband, seasoned performer Olu Jacobs, has passed away.
On Monday, August 29, the 60-year-old dispelled the rumour in a message posted on Instagram.
The actress reportedly threatened to file a lawsuit against people who were disseminating false information about her husband’s passing. The declaration said:

“Good morning, everyone. I hope everything is okay. The Jacob family is happy to let you know that Pa J (Olu Jacobs MFR) is still alive and well and spending time with his family and friends in comfort. Please get ready for legal action if you chose to disregard our most recent warnings about false news.
Joke dispelled reports of her husband’s passing in October 2021 when the false information spread online. She stated to The Punch:
They’re only spewing nonsense, so don’t let them bother you. He is currently preparing Eba and Ogbono soup in the living room. Let them continue to fool themselves. He is healthy and strong.
Olu Jacobs’ passing in 2020 was also rumoured. However, the 80-year-old veteran’s wife and actress Lala Akindoju, who are close friends, dispelled the rumour in a tweet by stating that the 80-year-old was “alive and well.”
