Nollywood actress, Aisha Lawal, has expressed her concern following the tragic collapse of an unfinished 21-story building in Ikoyi.
In the Ikoyi region, a 21-story structure under construction recently collapsed near Alexander Way and Gerrard Road. A large number of construction workers are feared to be trapped beneath the rubble.
The actress expressed her dissatisfaction with the scenario on her Instagram page, saying that it had kept her awake all night.

According to her, the building should have collapsed in the middle of the night when no one is present, as she expressed her dissatisfaction with the current situation.
Speaking further, she said those trapped in the building were there because they needed to survive as she prayed for her fans that while looking for daily bread, they should not encounter what will eat them.
She wrote:
I honestly couldn’t sleep well, ahhh why couldn’t this building collapse in the middle of the night when no one will be there ahhhhh kabi o si olohun oba my heart is really heavy, while looking for what to eat, may we not encounter what will eat us.
