Nollywood star Kemi Afolabi offers a sneak peek into her recent health check-up for her fans.
Last year, the Yoruba actress disclosed her struggle with Lupus, a condition in which the body’s immune system targets its own tissues and organs.
Since then, the movie star has been regularly getting checkups abroad. However, this time, Kemi chose to share a glimpse of her medical examination with her fans.

During her conversation with the doctor, she expressed her concerns about the swelling in her feet and hands and voiced her determination to regain her physical fitness.
Fortunately, she is currently in a remission period and experiences less pain compared to the initial stages of her illness.
“My feet and hands have been swollen and I need to get back in shape. I do have pains and sickness in the morning, once in a while. It’s not as frequent anymore as it used to be.
Right now I am in the remission period because it hasn’t been bad, compared to what I was experiencing before”.
