This dynamic, he proposed, results in a more pronounced visibility of men seeking financial assistance, contrasting with women who typically receive support from men.

Effiong emphasized that men often choose to bear their financial burdens silently rather than seek help from women. He noted that a man’s priority upon earning is typically his family’s wellbeing. In cases of financial hardship, men tend to publicly seek help rather than approach women for assistance, reflecting the societal belief that it is unusual for women to financially support men.

Effiong’s personal life has also been a topic of interest. In a notable incident in 2022, he humorously asked his wife, Toyosi, for permission to have a side-chick during a live chat. Toyosi’s playful reply, suggesting a mutual exchange, amusingly caught Effiong off guard. This humorous interaction shed light on their playful and dynamic relationship

Adding to their public persona, the couple joyfully announced the arrival of their second child, a baby boy, last year. They shared this special moment on social media with a touching photo of their newborn. Furthermore, in June 2022, Toyasi celebrated Effiong’s birthday with a heartfelt social media post, acknowledging his quiet demeanor while expressing her love and admiration for him.
