David Adeleke, best known by his stage name Davido, a Nigerian musician, explained how he came from a home where their father didn’t want them to be performers.
In a video posted by tooxclusive, he can be seen admitting that he is the only member of his family to have entered the entertainment industry. His millionaire father wanted him to graduate from college and land a lucrative career, either in his business or one of his friends’ businesses.
Davido continued to create music even though his father forbade it. He admitted that he would wait until his father was away from the house before writing and recording his music; when the father returned, he would act as if he hadn’t written or recorded anything.
