“Murphy Afolabi Burial”– ‘Area boys’ prevent Mr Latin from accessing burial venue (Video)

There was chaos on Monday afternoon in Mopelufa, Adamo, located in the Ikorodu area of Lagos State. This incident occurred during the burial ceremony of the renowned Yoruba actor, Murphy Afolabi, when a group of young people prevented Bolaji Amusan, popularly known as Mr Latin, from entering the burial ground.

Identifying themselves as “omo adugbo,” the youths demanded that Mr Latin provide them with financial compensation before granting him access to the burial ground. Mr Latin, who holds the position of President of the Theatre Arts and Movies Practitioners Association of Nigeria, arrived at the location at approximately 3:00pm.

Fortunately, the issue was eventually resolved, and Mr Latin was allowed entry to Afolabi’s burial ground. At the time of reporting, the body of the deceased had not yet arrived at the venue for burial.
