Yul Edochie, a Nigerian actor, questioned society’s perceptions on why moms are valued more highly than fathers on social media.

The Nollywood star, who has been embroiled in family drama, said that he doesn’t believe children and society value fathers as highly as they value moms.

He asserts that while Father’s Day is not treated with the same enthusiasm and exciting plans as Mother’s Day is, Mother’s Day is always preceded by weeks of planning, including scheduling appointments, ordering gifts, etc.

To buttress his point, Yul praised his Dad and Actor Pete Edochie for the values he instilled in him and his siblings. He also appreciated the veteran for giving them the best training and education.

The filmstar who is also a father added that he is keen to take care of his kids, and prayed to the lord to continue protecting and providing for him.
