Popular Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade Asake, often known as Asake, recently made a change to his verified Instagram page, which sparked a variety of comments on social media.
In a recent move, singer Asake—who has 4.9 million verified Instagram followers—unfollowed everyone on his page, including his boss Olamide and the song “Only Me.”
That wasn’t even the beginning; singer Asake caused more controversy when he removed all of the images and videos from his Instagram page, leaving him without any content to share on the photo and video sharing platform.

Recall that Olamide signed Asake to his record label YBNL in February 2022 and by extension Asake has become an established artiste in the music industry.
Over the last two years, Asake has drop two hit albums dubbed, Mr Money with the vibe (2022), Work of art (2023).
Also, Asake put the country name on the world map in the year 2023 as he shutdown the 20,00 capacity 02 Arena.
Even though, Asake has recorded a massive success in the music industry over the last 2 years, the recent developments where where he unfollows his boss Olamide, Davido Wizkid and all other people on Instagram as well as deleting all his IG posts has sparked several reactions online.
However, he left a profile picture that reads; “What the fvck is really going on.”
