Prince Nelson Enwerem, a former BBNaija housemate, has sparked controversy by urging artists and other Nigerian entertainers to stage an event in which Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) will be used instead of admittance tickets.

According to him, this move will compel young people to obtain their PVCs and vote in the upcoming election next year.

His post sparked arguments, with some arguing that even if the musicians did so, it would not guarantee that people would vote in the elections, while others maintained that the act would go a long way toward insuring political involvement among the country’s youth.
