Martinoโ€™s departure comes weeks after Messi and Inter Miami were eliminated in the first round of the MLS playoffs, losing to No. 9 seed Atlanta United FC in a best-of-three series.

Appointed in June 2023 to replace Phil Neville, Martino achieved significant success during his tenure. He guided the team to victory in the 2023 Leagues Cup, secured the 2024 Supporters’ Shield, and helped set a new MLS record for most points in a single season during the 2024 campaign.
