William Moore, Jr., the young man, spent three years studying at the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP) Aerospace Career Education (ACE) Academy in Northern Virginia (NOVA).
William Moore Jr. received a scholarship that allowed him to enroll in the Youth in Aviation Program (YIAP), and he finished the course in the top 5% of his class.
William Moore earned his private pilot certificate in 2019 while still a high school student, at the age of just 17.

Williams Moore started taking flight classes on April 28. Three months later, on June 28, he completed his first solo flight. On October 15, 2019, his birthday, he obtained his private pilot’s license (PPL).
He was chosen and given a scholarship by Delta Air Lines to study at the National Flight Academy for a 2019 Summer Deployment. He was eager to return because he had learned so much.
His parents are pleased with him and commend his tenacity in pursuing his objectives. William Moore, Sr. and Kamesha Moore, his parents, expressed their pride in their son. He made plans, was resolved to ace his FAA exam the first time, and also spoke his PPL accomplishment into existence.
William Jnr’s long-term objective is to work as a commercial airline and freight pilot. He is currently 21 years old. He also plans to fly C-5, C-17, and C-130 military aircraft.
In order to encourage his peers to work hard in order to fulfill their dream of becoming a PPL, he intends to share his experience with them.
