The planned Tinubu-Shettima solidarity walk has been postponed indefinitely by Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Management Committee.
The initial date for the solidarity walk was Sunday, October 9, 2022.
A rally in support of the triumph of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima, the APC’s presidential candidates, in the general elections of 2023 was suggested by MC Oluomo.

This was said in a statement released by MC Oluomo on Wednesday night.
Teslim Balogun Stadium in the state’s Surulere Local Government Area was originally supposed to be the starting point for the rally.

This is to inform the general public that the Tinubu-Shettima and Gov, SanwoOlu-Hamzat solidarity walk scheduled for Sunday 9th October, 2022 at Teslim Balogun Stadium has been postponed until further notice.
The postponement was due to the APC campaign flag-up that is coming up on Monday 10th October, 2022.
The new date will be communicated once agreed. We regret any inconveniences.
