When Mbappe’s contract with PSG expired in the summer of 2022, it was widely believed that he would sign with Real Madrid.

However, the former Monaco star decided to stay in Paris and signed a new three-year deal with the Parisians.

Following remarks made about Zidane by the president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Noel Le Graet, Mbappe recently backed the Real Madrid star.

Recall that for the second time in a month, Lionel Messi had defeated Kylian Mbappe. The last time the two faced off was in the gripping 2022 FIFA World Cup final between Argentina and France.

After trailing 2-0 until the 80th minute of regulation time, Mbappe went on to score a scintillating hat-trick to help his country force a penalty shootout. The two players once again displayed their superiority.
