Just last month, Iya Gbokan expressed how she had been acting for decades but never owned a car. She revealed her daily routine of relying on buses to reach her destinations.

In an impassioned plea, Iya Gbonkan urged her fans to celebrate her while she is still alive, rather than waiting to commemorate her passing with a grand gesture.

Touched by Iya Gbokan’s heartfelt appeal, Pastor Abgala Gabriel, a renowned philanthropist dedicated to helping the less fortunate, promptly took action.

Recognising the actress’s contributions to the entertainment industry and her current struggles, Pastor Gabriel visited the veteran actress at her home in Osogbo to rallied his supporters and initiated a fundraising campaign to support Iya Gbokan’s endeavors.

In a new update, a super fan of the veteran actress identified as Mrs Omobolanle Olatise single-handedly donated a car to Iya Gbonkan, asides the earlier N5 million donation.

In the video which captured the heartwarming moment the veteran was handed the car key, it was obvious that Iya Gbonkan’s joy knew no bounds.

Reacting to this, Yomi Fabiyi took to social media to express the happiness over Iya Gbonkan new achievement.

He wrote, ” Congratulations to IYA GBONKAN. I am indeed very elated. I must also express my sincere gratitude to these beautiful souls ALEXES PROMOTION alexespromotions London. Also to AGBALA GABRIEL for turning the live of mama around within the short period. You guys are wonderful.

My prayer to all hands that is supporting and giving these veterans help and support will never run dry of food and greatness. It shall be counted for them and their children. They shall all live longer to enjoy the fruit of their labours. They shall always meet the mercy and favour of God. Thank you for honouring and helping these hardworking, talented but helpless thespians.
